This year Gabbye was Alice in Wonderland. No, I didn't make the costume...I can't sew to save my life! :) We spent the afternoon at the Aviary for the Halloween Hoot. They had a cool bird show that Gabbye loved. They had a golden hawk, a couple of owls, a couple of vultures, a falcon, a crow, an emu and some others. They would fly right over your head - I think one of the vultures hit me with his tail feathers on his way over my head! Tonight we went to a couple of neighbor houses mostly just to show off our little girl. She had her one piece of candy grasped tightly with both hands as she walked around! Happy Halloween little girl! Cannot wait for next year...
They had a little music sing a-long after the bird show and Gabbye enjoyed the instruments...until we had to give them back. It was late in the afternoon and this ushered in the beginning of the end! She rattled her instruments through the whole song with a huge smile on her face!
